Are your products organic?
While our ingredients meet all requirements for the USDA Organic certification, Cornell University's pilot plant, where our products are made, is not certified. We are working to get the certification as soon as possible.
Are your products Non-GMO?
Yes, all our ingredients are non-GMO.
Are your products gluten free?
Yes, all our products are naturally gluten free!
Are your products dairy free?
Yes, all our products are dairy-free!
Are your products vegan?
Yes, all our products are vegan!
Are your products keto-friendly?
Yes, all our products are keto-friendly, with low net carbs, lots of fiber and healthy fats.
Are your products Kosher?
While our ingredients and production methods meet all requirements for kosher certification, Cornell University's pilot plant, where our products are made, is not certified. We are working to get the certification as soon as possible.
Where do your ingredients come from?
We source our ingredients from the best producers around the globe. Many of our ingredients are native to tropical climates, such as green bananas, coconut and vanilla, and therefore can't be sourced locally. We are continuously working with our growers to minimize the impact of transportation and warehousing on the environment.
Do you use preservatives?
No, just natural processing.
Is your product allergen free?
Yes, except for coconut, which the FDA classifies as a tree nut. Other than that, Nutreat doesn't have any of the main allergens: milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, other tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybean.
What allergens are present at your facility?
There are no other allergens in our facility.
What kind of sweetener do you use?
We use a mix of organic erythritol and monk fruit, which we found to be the best to deliver a pleasant sweet taste without the impact of sugar.

Do I have to refrigerate? What about after opening?
The product is made in a way that allows it to remain shelf-stable, making it convenient for taking with you wherever you go. After opening, the product should be consumed in the next several hours or refrigerated if you want to keep it for longer.
How long does the product last?
Usually not very long because it’s so delicious. However, it is good for at least a year unopened - see the best by date on the sticker at the bottom of the jar. Once opened it should be refrigerated and consumed within 5 days.
Why is my product separated?
This is a natural product made with real ingredients. So, they can separate. All you have to do is give it a stir and enjoy!
Why does your product cause me to be gassy?
Eating Nutreat may make some people a little gassy. This is normal and means it’s working! Fiber helps you feel full and feeds healthy bacteria in your gut. As your body gets used to the right amount of fiber, everything gets back to a new, healthier normal.
Why do you have so much saturated fat?
Until recently, fat has been the enemy. However, we are now learning that fat plays a critical role in keeping you full and providing stable, long-burning energy. And don't worry, our saturated fat comes from coconuts which have a list of health benefits. You can read more about our coconut ingredient here.

Can I freeze Nutreat?
Yes, and we love to eat it straight from the freezer on hot days. Just be mindful that it will harden up.
